Default Coolant Reservoir Hose Question for 95' 3.8

Hello,
After doing some searching and not coming up with anything, thought it was time to ask more experienced members. I need to replace the small hose that goes from the radiator to the reservoir recovery tank in my 1995 3.8. I did a search for one and could not find any store that has one, I'm thinking it might be a discontinued part. Has anyone replaced theirs, if so what kind/size hose did you use or was anyone able to find actual OEM part. Thanks in advance.

This is a common problem for all 4th gen F-bodies with all engines. Along with the combo battery tray/coolant reservoir that has a broken off battery retaining lip.

The factory setup is a rubber hose swaged to an aluminum pipe that is sealed to the coolant reservoir with a rubber grommet. The hose/pipe thing is GM p/n 10188032 and long discontinued. Just google that p/n...

A lot of times leaking battery acid gets between the rubber grommet and the aluminum pipe and then the pipe gets eaten. No coolant recovery.

I needed this part for my 94 V6 and hit the junkyards. Most of the ones I found were damaged or bad but I did score a good one and a spare.

Pic later today.

Thanks for the reply, I took a look at the reservoir tank when I pulled the battery out and it still looks like its in good shape no leaks or cracks. The discontinued hose is my only concern and would like to replace it so it doesnt become a problem later. I wonder if I could use same size hose to replace it. I might have to check out the junkyard and see if I can find a good one. Thanks again.

Measure the diameter of the nipple the hose fits upon, not the bead portion, and go to an improvement/hardware store and buy a length of vinyl hose?
I'm thinking 1/4 inch inside diameter?

On mine the aluminum part was cracked. I spent several months and couldn't find one so we pulled it off a parts car we had.

Yeah, the problem is usually the aluminum pipe.
