Oh man, pays to go back and reread. In his second post he said he's in Canada. That splains a lot!

Here's what you do, assuming canadian dollar = american dollar(more or less):

1. Drive across the border(bring a friend or 2 or 3)
2. pick up a nice 4th gen for $3-5K
3. Road trip in newly acquired 'maro back home
4. ???
5. Beer
6. Profit!

I am looking for a s s witH around 70000 miles. Yea I am from
Canada and prices here are way over priced . Yes I was wondering
If it would be toasty thanks. I would cOme down there but when
You bring cars into Canada from the USA you have to get like 3 grand
Of work down on it befor it is considered to be safe by the government
Standards. Actually the convertible I am looking at is originally from the
USA . So convertibles are a good choice all in all? I wish the prices in Canada
Were the same as down there. If I came down there to buy a car it would
Have to be a 2010 s s those are beautiful!!!!

Hi Howien11, I got a 97 vert and just love it. Me too I'm in Canada on the eastern side. My car is pretty solid and onlike others mind has a pretty stiff top so no noise or rattle sounds. By the way mind come from florida and has the second gear start, the must be pretty useful in Florida lmao....
It unbelevable how prices are high for cars in your area BC is pretty close to you, did you check there?

Should be enough room. I take two of my friends from college home on the weekends. If we can pack the three of us and all of our stuff, I'm sure you can pack a hockey bag. BTW, what position do you play? I used to switch between LW and LD back when I still played.

Personally, I love hard tops. Just feel safer in them. Rode in a friends t-top Firebird a few times and enjoyed myself but at times felt like I was gonna die if he rolled it. But he has an extremely heavy lead foot. And technically fourth gen F-bodies originate from Canada. The assembly plant was moved some where up there.
