Default Computer Programmers/Tuners

Im thinking about trying out a power tuner on my '99 SS. Ive never used programmer on a car before and im not sure which ones are good or not. I want more HP and snappier shifts. I also need to recalibrate for bigger tires and rear end. Any suggestions or comments?

Send your PCM off to Frost to be tuned. Not worth it to buy a tuner when you don't know how to tune anything, and sending it off to Frost will be cheaper.

Who's frost? Mines down right now so it would be the perfect time to send the PCM somewhere for tuning.
