I am looking at buying a tuner/programmer for my 94 Z/28 but was wondering is it really worth it. What are the advantages/ disadvantages. Are they hard to learn? And are they any you would recommend? Any all feedback is much appreciated.

 

to be honest, if its in the budget, switching over to an LS1 style computer and tuning it with hptuners is going to get you MILES ahead of a canned tune from a programmer. I know its a little more work and money, but its not even in the same realm

 

What're they going for? I have never fooled with computers or fuel injection on a car so this is all new to me just trying to get all I can out of it. Also would the tuner be useful if I out a turbo or procharger on the car?
