I don't understand when I changed my plugs 3.8 it was as easy as could be. I didn't need a swivel or anything.

I never needed a swivel on my 01 3.8. It was kinda difficult and a pain but definitely not crazy hard. It's not like the 4 cylinders that I've worked on where the plugs are right on top and just BEGGING to be changed!

Now my 02 LS1?... THAT WAS A FRIGGIN PAIN

Changing the plugs in my V8 car and my 3800... Both were equally painful. With headers, both are very easy but the 3800 is actually a little more difficult with headers because of the proximity of the #4 primary.

Swivels make life easy when it comes to plugs.

Oh dang your're right! I forgot about how hard it was when I got headers for my 3.8. And yup... it was the number 4 cylinder! I had my headers wrapped with that fiberglass heat insulation and it still burned through my MSD plug wire boot and cause some hesitation. Of course... it was because of how close the plug wire was to the primary.
