cold air intake

Default cold air intake

new to the forum:i have a 2002 3.8l camaro with some bombin flowmasters but im looking for a k and n cold air intake from what i know now any ideas as to were i can get it the cheapest or a diffrent better brand il buy used if anyones selling one ..

keep an eye on the classifieds, if not check ebay. You're bound to find something

Thanks you guys also I've heard that getting a new air filter can do the trick

Many have used the SLP Cold Air Induction which is less expensive and you can use any filter you want.

Worth checking out if you don't have your heart set on the K&N. SLP 21033 SLP Cold Air Induction Package, 1998-02 Camaro V8 / V6 - 21033, SLP Cold-Air Kit

are these diirect fit? Also do you need to buy a filter for it? I wanna do the installation myself so I want to make sure I have everything perfect set up on my order

No, a new filter is not required for the SLP CAI.

I don't know what he's talking about, LOL.

There should be everything you need to be ready to go. I've never put one in myself, but it seems that the ones who have here say not too hard of an install.
