coil problems!! help please!!!!!

Default coil problems!! help please!!!!!

On my 96 Camaro 3.8 I replaced the front coil and the coil still won't fire I've put 3 different brand new coils still No fire getting juice just not fireing. Will someone please tell me what's going on?!???!?!?!

Sounds like a bad ICM. Power charges the coil, but the ground turning on and off is what makes it fire the plug.

That's the flat 'plate' that the 3 coils mount to. There's a electrical connector on the back end of the 'plate' with 1 fastener to unscrew, and a couple mounting fasteners hidden under the coil packs. Be gentle pulling the electrical connector off the ICM.

I do not know if the ICM can be tested, and a replacement is around $150 - $ 175 here in Indy.

Local auto parts store should be able to test the ICM.
