Default 98 v6 camaro coil problems

I have a 98 camaro v6 that has had a stutter problem since i bought it about 3 weeks ago and about a week ago a coil went out so i replaced it and to day it started running bad again so i re-placed it again with a performancecoil and it runs better than ever, what i would like to know is why it is going threw coils and how i can fix it. any help would be nice.

Thanks Tony Pastere

i cant think of anything that may cause them to go bad unless you didnt have a good connection to your spark plug on the last one, a slight gap with that much voltage will toast any connection. have you checked ur plugs lately?

it may have been a faulty part. is the 3.8 coil over plug, or coilpack? wait and see if this one goes bad, if it does, and even if its the fault of the car, u can get ur money back if its soon enough after purchase

the coil is such a non-complicated part that really the only thing i can think of is a bad connection somewhere.
