Default Code P0507 Idle air valve

2002 Camaro SS SLP, Auto, 25,000 miles. Texas Speed cam and LS3 ported heads and long tube headers. Other minor upgrades. Work was done and the engine was tuned by an expert after the mods and ran great.
Check engine light comes on for about 25 to 50 miles then goes off. I have only driven it a few times in the past month or so and only 20 to 50 miles each time.
Code is P0507 which I think is Idle Air Valve. For the first time ever it was slow to start last time I drove it.

My question, can this be corrected with a tuner or does this valve need to be replaced?

Thanks in advance

some things to look at, is it idling high?
Vacuum leak
Leaking air intake after the throttle body
EGR valve leaking vacuum
Faulty positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve
Damaged/failed/dirty throttle body
Failed EVAP system
• Failed IAC (idle air controller) or faulty IAC circuit

Thanks for the info. It also has a catch can kit.
The idle is OK most of the time, except when coming to a stop, if I put it in neutral and coast while the car is rolling the idle goes up to about 1800 RPM's then slowly comes down to normal after stopping.
I will check for any vacuum leaks.
