@Green97 thanks, but I don't have help, that's why I bought the Remote start switch , but I plan to still do the test light check, using the Rss before I put the heat shield back on, JIC.

I can be tuff to find this type of issue when it is not doing it. You are not even sure if it is ground or power. I would suggest cleaning the ground cable that runs to the engine. There is more chance of a ground issue then a power to the starter issue. The ground is directly to cast iron and can cause issue. So you are looking from everything form the ignition switch through the starter relay and the wires that connect everything. I hate to say be but you moving wires around could be a coincident. At the dealer if it was not warranty they would quote a problem like this really high to repair. If it is not starting then it should be a 20 minute diagnoses.

Electrical issues are always a pain.

I've had a mechanic give the car back to me saying "this is something electrical, we can't figure it out". (not the Camaro)
I figured it out myself and never went back to that mechanic again...

I charged the battery last week, it had gotten down to 12.3V, still wouldn't crank, even on charger.
Today, I was checking the battery before getting back under the car for volt drop test at starter. Static tested battery @12.48V, when testing under load, engine cranked 6-7 times, only dropped ~1V. Let rest 10 mins ro cool down, cranked another 5 times, while watching oil pressure guage, no problems. Put fuel pump relay back in once pressure reached midline (60psi), she cranked right up, we have joy! But no trust. WTF?! Don't see how I can continue diagnostics when problem no longer exists (unless she strands me)and that'll suck.NOW I'm pulling my hair out, @craby , lol.
I had to change a loose wheel stud before taking her back on the road (not relevant). I backed her out of the garage (she started, no prob)... had trouble getting caliper back on, my lil brother came by and put her back together after Thanksgiving dinner and wanted to hear her start, NO JOY🤬. I'M BACK WHERE I STARTED A YEAR AGO, NO CRANK, ONE CLICK, NO START!I've gotta order plugs and coils for my van, so after I check a few things, I'll probably just order an ACDelco starter as well. I'm sick of paying outrageous insurance for a car I haven't driven for a farken year! And now it's time to renew my tag too😭🤑🤬

did you make sure the big wire to the starter is connecting right? can you move the connector at the end of the wire while its tightened? sure sounds like a bad connection some dam place. might try getting it to click in the dark while watching and listening to try and locate that bugger.

get your volt meter tester out and see if you have 12 volt at the big wire stud and the little wire stud on the starter while someone holds/moves the ignition to the start position.
