Choke
Hey guys I have a problem when I drive my camaro sometimes, not always but sometimes (more the usual) when I come to a stop on a stop sign or a red light and when I begin to accelerate my car chokes, when i press the gas it starts moving but i feel that it doesn't produce enough power and then after a wile it jumps a bit and drives normally what might be causing this issue?

When I am at a complete stop and I want to accelerate a feel the car not being able to produce enough power for it to start it starts to shake alot and then at a certain point it drives normaly untill the next stop. When I am not moving its ok, as soon as ?I start to press the gas the RPMs drop a little under 700 and then they go back up.

So I scanned for codes and its the Cylinder Location Sensor, is it hard to change the sensor because i found one for 50$, and i don't know if i should do it myself or take it straight to a mechanic.

cam sensor is on the front of the timing gear cover, crank sensor is behind the harmonic balancer. test your coil packs first, a failing coil pack will cause a misfire code, you can pick up a cam sensor from rock auto for like 23 bucks.
