Default Carrier Bearings

When cars get up to a certain age things need to be replaced naturally. Well my car is reaching the age where it needs a new Carrier bearing. Its a 96 V6 3.8 the normal base model 5 spd. I have gone to all the different retail auto stores, tried aftermarket parts from Summit Racing, called the dealer, tried looking online and nobody has the Carrier bearing (with the exception of the dealer who told me I had to buy a lot more than just the bearing to get it) Does anybody know where I can go, website, store, etc. to find this Carrier bearing. It would be a big help, any advice is welcome. Thanks!

Thanks! Do you happen to know if the two drivelines are interchangeable? I've been told that the Base doesn't have enough room to put in a one piece and thats why they have the carrier bearing so they can have a smaller driveline. But I don't actaully know that for myself.
