Well, its done. Have to say, I am pretty disappointed... I am guessing I need a high-flow cat... I must have doing something wrong when searching for one before because I could of sworn they were like $300+, but now I am looking and am finding them for like $125... F@ck... If I would have saw them that cheap, I would have got one to being with... All that work and it is doggy and you can only hear it at idle if you are right up next to it - pretty much bent over... But if it's not pushing the right amount of air, I suppose it isn't going to sound right either... I put a new cold air intake on also, so it is sucking too much air for that cat to handle...?

When researching it seemed like I wasn't the only one to keep the original cat, so it didn't seem like a big deal... I am going to look it over again tomorrow to see if there is anything else amiss that could be causing the dogginess... But as of right now, the car is doggy and sounds like I put on a $100 walmart muffler - of course this project can't just be over...

What's the deal with this...? http://flowmonster.com/i-6532985-415...converter.html 2nd day shipping is only $27.00 more...

And another thing that is bumming me out is the EGR tube inlet into the headers is leaking....... Can I use these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-8L-V6-EGR-...56ca52&vxp=mtr and if so, what are the consequences...? Thanks

Yes, you can use those block off plates ( will threw the ses light for egr not being used). Even though that's really high, only $15 to have mine made, there's on thread on v6f-body.com on how to make them yourself.

The new magnaflow cat is in. Definite improvement. BUT I can't call it complete until I get that EGR leak stopped. Just ordered the block-off plates. Thanks for the info. Got mine off ebay for 19.99, they will be here Dec 3rd. I don't mind the light coming on as long as I'm not causing any damage. Will likely fix it right later, but just don't have time now. Gotta get this "done" so I can put it in storage.
