Default Can I remove the IAC w/o removing the whole TB?

I have a 97 camaro, LT1 and I wanted to try and remove the IAC to see if it needs cleaning since I am having some hesitation issues.

Can I remove this without taking the whole TB off?

Anyone have ideas?

The IAC will not cause hesitation issues. If they are nor working right you will have issues keeping the car running while idling. but yes you can remove it without taking the throttle body off, it should be attached right by the TB.

it looks like there is no way to access the lower torx bolt without removing the whole TB, I can't even actually see the lower torx bolt but I know it has to be mounted on by 2 holding screws.
