Camera Mount under $7
Hey guys i just made a camera mount for my camaro for less than $7!

Heres a picture of it on a window
it works really well, but since it requires a decent sized flat surface to mount to you are kind of limited on space you can put it on a 4th gen. the hood, spoiler, and roof all work.

it's really easy to make!
the items you will need are:
-a double suction cup Dual Cup Suction Lifter
-a bolt, i believe the normal size for cameras is 6mm but its not a bad idea to take your camera with you to see if it fits. (the one i used was 2.25" long)
-a drill
*optional-
-a ball head, it is very useful to have attatched. it aims the camera and can reduce shakyness in the video you take.
-a ratchet strap to put through the hole in the suction cup that is already there to make sure it is securely attatched to your car. (make sure that you protect your car from the ratchet itself with a little towel or something similar)
1. drill a hole in the suction cup straight up and down somewhere on the bar that attaches the suction cups together (make sure that the bolt can fit into the hole, but isnt too loose in it)
2. thread the bolt into the hole you made
3. *optional step* screw the ball head onto the top
4. screw your camera onto the bolt or the ball head and you are ready to go!

Spend the $300 and get the gopro motorsports camera system. It's tested to over 250 mph for the suction cup they have. This set up is a good idea but I'd be worried about how strong the suction cups are.

Well, if you use a camera like that in the iPhone 4S (and a ProClip mount, with riser plank, it will be adequately over the dash) -- it has built-in image stabilization, so it will work out MUCH better than a cam without that feature...
