camaro turns over but NO FIRE!!! SOS
i tested the crank sensor by pulling the plug wire's off the first coil pack (plugs 1 & 4) and seeing if there was spark between them (there was) so that meens its good but im not very confident in that method of testing the crank sensor so im gonna do some more testing on it tommorow.... i havent tested the camshaft position sensor yet im gonna do that tommorow afternoon... and im gonna test the "ignition control module" as well tomorrow.... yes (tripwire1124) the plugs did smell like fuel .......
u should be able to unplug the crank sensor and it should run. crank sensor compares the position of the crank with the position of the cam sensor. cam sensor tells the sytem the important info. u need to get it scanned and see what it says. otherwise replacing parts by guessing may work,,, or not.
i have NNNOOO way to get it scanned!!! to ryan95z i already bench checked the coil pack's and tested for spark at each plug-they are good! and i checked ALL the fuses a ton of times.... and it says all this in a few reply's on this thread... i just checked the cam & crank sensors and there both good... i just tried starting it and it acts like it WANTS TO START!! but never does WTF AM I MISSING?? it sounds like a timing issue...i dont know how to test the ignition control module...

just got back from vacation and figured id test the sensor's again while i was in the shop (for ***** and giggles) until i can get it scanned next week and the sensor on the passenger side of the block (i think its the 3X crank) and there was no ohm's voltage or anything....
