maybe none. all depends on tongue weight. most small boats only have a 50 lb tongue weight. i get more weight in the back of mine in soccer stuff.

I tow a 1500 lb boat and trailer with my 98 TA. No issues to date. At 2000 lbs, you are at the limit of a class 1 hitch which is the only size that is made for our cars. As Craby says, keep the tongue weight well under 100 lbs. All my Firebirds have had hitches.
