Default camaro occasionally miss firing

hi peeps,

i changed about 75% of the firing system 3 months back, wires plugs (opti last month), but on occasion the cars check engine blinks(indication of miss firing) and loss of power, for about a minute then in goes away.. im not really sure what or howto check stuff, guidance would be apreciated,,

i THINK the things remained untouched since i got the camaro are the module and the coil.. what can i do to make sure these parts work good, and what else to check.. thanks.

by the way, when i changed the wires, all fited but the once from the coil to opti didnt so i left the old one intact, im not sure what to do about this issue, cant buy a new set just for one of the wires,,

96' camaro lt1 5.7 manual, thanks

joe.

change your coils, one at a time if that's all you can afford. it's simple
i had the same problem, now she runs great

Default Coils

Look in the manual and it will give you the specifics on testing your coils instead of just throwing parts at it. You have to check the resistance on the primary and secondary sides. Good luck.
