And it is a one owner car with the LS1. It should be a 200,000 mile car the way I drive it. Its all highway. Its been my daily driver for 2 years it has 70k on it now. All I have done to it is brakes, tires, stainless exhaust and a AC compressor. I needed two tires but upgrade to some 18" rims I had around so I did all 4, and the brakes I did because I think they where the original pads, I did not like the way they felt in the rain.

Its the finding of the right car that can be tuff. I looked at a lot of turds before I found the diamond in the ruff.

UPDATE 4/10/17
The mechanic tried to screw me over, he said it was ready. I had to be SURE, I turned on the car and the check engine light went on??? and the ****er didn't add any coolant just water??? So as soon as I saw that I had to pressure test it and guess what it started leaking in the exact same spot the bolt behind the oil filter and I told him hey it's leaking the same spot and he said the only job that he was only supposed to do was the gasket and I can visibly tell he added a ****load of silicon on the gasket. Total came out to be $500, I paid him $300 upfront and I was supposed to pay him $200 today but I'm not paying him dime more until he fixes that leak.

I need some advice!

I also checked the oil cap just to see if it was milky but I couldn't tell:

if he was to only do the intake gasket then thats what he did, or was supposed to. is the puddle still forming on the intake or is that leak stopped. if so and he did change the intake correctly then the elbow o rings should have been replaced and the elbows checked or replaced if they came with the intake kit. if he did these correctly then that leaves the water pump or the front cover or a hose or hose connection.

He claimed there were only 4 leaking points and he claimed he fixed them all. The puddle still forms around the intake and it is still leaking the same spot, he said that my intake gasket was cracked but he replaced it.
