Default Camaro 1996 Brickyard 400 facts?

I own a Z4C convertible with 6-speed shifter. Is there any way to verify anything about the 50 cars build for Brickyard 400? Perhaps by VIN, equipment or something else. Doesn't have any original papers.

Yes, the VIN's are known for the 30th Anniversary Cars used at the 1996 Brickyard 400 race. First off, all the Brickyard Festival cars had the houndstooth cloth seats and from the picture you posted, it appears your car doesn't. Second, the Festival cars were some of the very first 30th Anniversary cars built, and their Vin sequence numbers started at #00015 and went to #00080. There was an article in the May/June issue of Camaro Enthusiast Magazine that listed the VIN's and give a brief description of the cars. The picture below is the issue I'm referencing.

These two pages are the article. The Pace Car is pictured, but the VIN's are from the Z28 Festival Cars convertibles used in 1996.
