CAI breather hose?

Here it is for anyone still curious, connects to the back of the original intake like that. I have a thin cloth with an elastic covering it right now, any ideas for a permanent solution? Can it be removed and blocked off?

Yup. That's what I thought. You should see the way I did mine. Haha. I've been trying to get around to making that hole look good. Thanks for reminding me!

Didn't even notice you asked another question....if I remember correctly, you can just remove the whole smog pump. Just check to see where all the hoses are running before hand as I don't remember since mine was half torn out when I got the car. Unplugging it shouldn't throw a SES light either since unplugging mine actually took my SES light off

Mine was disconnected for who knows how long. I guess thats where the air pump gets it's air from so if it is just flopping aaround it really won't hurt anything as the pump still gets air, just not filtered air from the intake.
