Where is it located

 

Passenger side fenderwell in the engine bay, should be an a/c line running around there with a plug hooked up to it. That would be it.

 

Is it in the middle of the lower line by connection to check low side press. If so it has 3 wires. How do you jump it to get clutch to engage?

 

It will be hooked to the low pressure side. Jumper all three wires together was the only way I could get it to work.

 

Thanks I'll try that. Does anyone know what the pressure on the low side should be?

 

I think the a/c pressure switch located on the passenger side of the engine compartment right in front of the coolant reservoir. The shiny long refrigerant line has the port covered with a screw off cap.

 

Low side pressure on a functioning system should be in the 30-40 PSI. Do not jump that switch for more then a second or two. If you are really low on freon the compressor can be damaged since the freon carries the oil.
