Burnin rich update
was nosing around and saw some other people having the same problem. their fix was swaping out the air control valves since it wouldnt close properly. for 12 bucks i said what the hell. now i dont smell the gassy exhaust, it smells more regular like before.
tested fuel pressure- 53psi key on for 1 hr, running 60 psi steady
swapped all 4 o2 sensors with delcos'
2 air catch valves
i drove 17 miles before today, took 2.4 gals works out 7.08 mpg
when i hit 17 miles again, will post if theres any difference.
btw has anyone ever hear about the catch valve issue?

You mean Air Check Valve That is a one way valve that keeps the exhaust from entering the AIR pump and hoses. When they go bad they will allow the exhaust to enter the system and ruin the hoses and or pump.

The air system is there, one port into each exhaust manifold. The pump is behind the bumper on the driver's side. It is electric and does not rob any HP so it is best to just leave it alone.
