Default building a 383 or 396 this winter!

well the engine is knocking and tapping and sounds like a turd right now after 160k miles and 1 bottle through it. so its rebuild time every check i get from now till end of january is gonna be going to this. havnt decided on cubic inches but im gonna call lloyd hav him do a set of le3's and custom grind a cam everything will be forged intake will be worked on and also some 32# injectors new fuel pump and possibly a direct port system for a real shot.[sm=nxsmile.gif] i cant wait to do all this itll be expensive but worth it. after this ill probably start breaking multiple 10 bolts but ill be saving for an s60.

sounds like a pretty exciting time for you. don't skimp on the parts...i'm sure you know that but i have to say it, haha. lloyd will help you out with just about everything you need to know. i'm thinking you may want bigger than 32# injectors too, i was thinking more like 42#. keep us updated!

ok so i sat down at work and ive priced it all out and it looks lik i wont be going with le3 heads maybe le2 but im tryin to fit this all into a 4000 dollar budget andall the parts and machine work on the block will be about 3300 so ill hav to go over for the heads and im goin to hav to wait on the direct port system and stay wit the 150 shot for now. the reason ive changed my budget is so i can buy the s60 after and a driveshaft and unfortunately after this ill most likly need a 6 point roll bar. but now that i hav the list and get paid today its about time to start stockin up on parts
