Default Broke my exhaust...

I was driving down the road then heard a pipe scrapingp [and the ridiculous roaring of the engine], pull over and see that from the cat-to the s pipe, im assuming its called that because of its s shape. from the s pipe to the muffler i have flowmasters it was broken it looks like a slip-joint broke idk what that is i have been looking online for a fix i just need someones feedback and a guess-timate on cost of repair. should i just take it to a muffler shop or can i just buy something to hold them together. ill post some pictures in the morning thanks.

if you know a good muffler shop take it over there and have them fit a new piece for it.

Do you know anyone that can weld? My understanding, muffler shops are expensive on small repairs because they do not make money on repairs. Rather they make their money on installs. Not sure if you need a new exhaust system but if the repair is going to be half of a new system then ??? You may also try buying some muffler couplings (?). where you can insert both pipes into and either weld or clamp down on the coupling

I could get a coupler. It appears to have had one before. There is a clamp looking thing still on one of the pipes. If I unscrew it will come off. Exhaust was already on the car when I bought it. Maybe an autoparts store will have the coupler?
