Default Brand New!

Hello everyone,

Just joined and I wanted to say hello. I need some advice, I have a 1994 Z28 with 127000 miles. Everything runs great, a squeak here and there nothing I couldnt find and fix. Im looking into turing my car into my tuner project, the problem is I dont have the slightest clue where to start. Some friends say one thing others say something totally different. I figured I would turn to you guys for some advice.

Thanks

Welcome! No offense, but first off, we don't say "tuner" when referring to f-bodys lol Second, I'm guessing you mean make it faster. Headers, y pipe, catback, CAI, gears, and a tune is a good start.

And if you want some sick handling you can pik up some light weight lower and upper a arms for the from. A new k frame and a nice 35mm sway bar. Pick up a shock tower brace aswell. For the rear get an adjustable pan hard bar, lower control arm and torque arm. And a nice 22-23mm sway bar. That'll give you some sick handling minus the stopping part.

lol sorry timmy ill try to work on my site lingo. Thanks for you suggestion, but I have one concern. I got 127000 miles on a completly stock camaro, would jumping right into getting some bigger and better headers, for lack of a better word, blow up my engine lol, or would starting on something a little more suttle be a better idea. Then working my way up to the more heavy engine mods. Im just a little skittish sorry.

Personally I don't know if I'd start throwing big mods at an engine with that mileage. Maybe that's just me, I get paranoid when it comes to my car. Mine's at 131k and it's at the point where little things keep going wrong back to back lol
Anyway, welcome to the site and share some pics of the Camaro!
