brake lines and unions
#11
I was speaking to a couple of friends of mine last night about this. They have told me of a couple of places locally that can make up the lines to the correct length with the unions on and the lines already flared, so I think is the best option for me.
Thank you guys for all of your help and input

Most of the time if you don't have the tools its cheap to have them made up. Some "real" parts stores can make them while you wait. These are the ones that normally have a machine shop in the back.
Some times you will see bend you do not think need to be there, I have heard mechanics even say "oh its that long just be it is what they had, the extra bend don't need to be there." That is BS, the fluid get hot. When the steel line get hot is expands. The extra bends are designed to handle that expansion with out hurting anything.
