Default brake and fuel lines

When I purchased my car last Friday I was told that it needs new brake and fuel lines. I have never done anything like this before. Is this something I can do on my own or would I be farther ahead to have it done. I am not the most mechanically inclined person, but I'm not a stranger to turning a wrench either.

If I were to pay to have this done, what do you think a good price would be?

Thanks for any help!

its pretty basic and easy to do, you would just need the lines, and a hand bender and flare tool. or you could buy pre bent ones made for that year and just bolt them on.

If you opt to do this yourself, make sure you get a double flaring tool. Single flares are OK for fuel lines but brakes are downright dangerous without a double flare!
