Default brake light adjustment

How do you adjust the brake light switch? I located the switch but have no clue how to adjust it... I'm assuming the switch needs to be "pulled out" a bit to get the lights on earlier, but the switch seems to be extended pretty far already. I'd really appreciate any help

never looked on my camaro but normaly there is a threaded rod coming thru the fire wall from the brake booster that is where the adjustment is made

Well if the haynes manual is right then the adjustment can be made on the switch which is mounted on the brake pedal. there is a threaded rod on the switch which has some sort of locking nut on it, and thats what I'm trying to adjust, I just dont know how.
