Bolt on parts for more power

RE: Bolt on parts for more power
The sticky at the top of the LT1 is more FAQ and general technical info. Check out the guide at the top of the 4th gen section on "Where to start Modding" it should suit you a bit better.
To give a cliff's notes version, you're going to want to look into a cold-air intake first then exhaust stuff. There's a lot more details in the sticky that I mentioned.
As far as radar dectors go I would go with the newest Escort Passport. I have the X50 and it's pretty nice, the newest one has GPS and if it detects the same fequency in the same place mulitple times it won't report that frequency anymore because it recognizes it as a false alarm. Pretty nice if you ask me, I would love to have that with mine...stupid gas stations.

CAI should be first, and not difficult...
Valentine One is the best radar detector, but it's all but useless against Lidar... By the time it goes off -- if it does, they already locked in.
See this for some comparisons (also check more current car & consumer magazines):

See this about laser:
http://www.valentine1.com/laserhowto/
Another review:
http://www.laserveil.com/en/ultimate...5/conclusions/
"If you're looking for the maximum sensitivity [particularly with laser] and/or require directional information about the radar source, then the Valentine One still stands alone."

On second thought, some Corvetteforum guys said:
One of our guys has done considerable research and independent tests have shown this Blinder M25 laser jammer to be the best laser jammer on the market. It is legal to own and use in Wisconsin. The unit is sold by Blinder dealers for $429. Please see www.usblinder.com, www.radartest.com, www.radarbusters.com and www.speedzones.com.
