black roof band

A black roof treatment was standard on all 1993 and 1994 Z28s, and 1995 models and later offered a roof that was the same color as the rest of the body as an option.

For me, it depends on the color of the car but if the vehicle has black mirrors, then the black band looks better. I am not a fan of black wheels unless the vehicle is black and the wheel has a chrome or aluminum ring on the outer edge and chrome centercap. JMO.
I'm pretty sure all cars with black mirrors have a black band, but not all cars with the black band have black mirrors also.
I think it really varies a lot, mainly from color to color. I think my dark green car would look better with body-color roof and mirrors, which is the way my first Camaro was. If you have a light-colored car, I think the black roof is the way to go.

that is not correct. my '94 V6 has a black roof and mirrors, because it has t-tops. pre-95, all t-top cars automatically had black roof/mirrors.
also from what i have seen if the camaro has the black band and mirrors the door handles are black as well. my 97 is a t-top car and a anniversary so i my band is white along with the mirrors and handles.
