Best wheel size for 4th gen
im new to the forum sorta i got a 1973 Camaro RS with 68k miles back in gr 9 (14 years old with no expierence or anyone close with any) it was too much work i was lied to by the guy i bought it off of (didnt help that i bought it in the middle of a snow storm i live in canada). Anyways sold that last july then in april of this year i picked up my 1994 Z28 6 speed.
so its getting painted sonic blue next week and i want to get new wheels (thinking boss 338s) and am wondering from your guys expierence since im not even 16 yet (28 days ) what wheel size is best for this body style of camaro. i want 18s but im wondering what width is best 18x8 18x9 18x10? if you have any suggestions for types of wheels put down a brand and the size that you think is best im looking for black 5 spokes with a good lip

I personally, would do 18x8 in the front and 18x10 in the back. This is where I got my wheels.

Tires will be rather expensive for 18" wheels. Tires are much less expensive for 17" wheels. Also the 17's are more economical because you can rotate them from front to back. Most 18" wheels will have different widths from front to back. Here are some pictures of my 1994 with 17" wheels. They're big enough to look sexy but small enough to be really cheap.

yeah, a set of 17x9" rims all the way around will probably do nicely. But if price isn't as much of an object, go ahead and step up to the 18" rims with pricier tires. As far as width goes, what do you plan on doing with this car? Plan on doing a bunch of drag racing? 10" width seems a little excessive for just a street car.

i will be doing some drag racing as for price my dad is paying half so its not that important but i dont want to go above 1600 1700 area i would love to be around the 1000 range but for a great looking wheel / tire combo i would be willing to pay more
