Default Best type of tire

I want a tire that has awesome traction for "zipping " around.. but has decent traction in rain as well (Manitoba living). Any suggestions on what kinda rubber. For a 98 Z28 with 16" on

do you plan to drive the car in the winter as well or just during no snow periods?i have fulda 245-50-16 for the rain in florida but have also ran dunlop sp9000 and kuhmo extas.all directional tires and work well in the rain.if you are going to drive in snow might want to explore a different option including narrower tires

No I have some cooper tires with snow studs in them for winter.

I just want some fun summer tires with awesome traction for ripping around, but aren't completely useless when it does rain

I've got BFGoodrich gForce Super Sports on both cars, and I love 'em. Grip is just endless in the dry, and they even handled the bit of snow we just had fairly well.

Order 'em off of there and you'll get a pretty good deal, too.

Those do look pretty awesome.. but the 211 shipping charge doesn't haha. 800 after all is said and done.. i guess its not bad for quality

I paid less than that, I think $150 or something. My total price for 245/50R16s was just over $600, if I recall correctly.

In Alberta, by the way~

Weird.. I wonder why it's so much cheaper for there. How are the nitto 555 r's? I've heard lots of great things about them

Also I had Falken ZE-912's suggested to me. Anyone know how those babies are?

And I posted another topic earlier but the answers were a little mixed, what's the biggest width of tire I can put on a 16" rim, without rubbing or having to change anything to my car.
