#1 flaw is a weak rear end, some hold up well others do not. For mods just start with the basics. Lid, headers and y-pipe,maybe gears.

I am not to great with car parts either but gears are what is enclosed in the rear end of your vehicle. I believe z28 comes with 3.23 gears. the bigger your gears the faster you car will be however the bigger the gears the less top end speed you will have.

A borla or flowmasters around $700 Exaust. K&N air filter. $60. K&N cold air intake adds 14.74 Horsepower $355. BBK throttle body lol 7-10 Horsepower $405 Then idk...try looking at new tranny and Tires. Play with Clutches and flywheels to add more torque. I don't know too much about that, but I try. I'm sort of a newbie.

Those don't add torque they simply are able to handle more.

Oh, I thought you can adjust them to add more torque.
