money is not a worry??????

Son, I could have bought my project 95 Z28 many many times over and money is always a worry to me. I abhor paying more than I have to for anything and as should you.

The first step is to set yourself a realistic budget in $$$. Then, decide if you will do every bit of the work yourself or need to pay people. These F bodies are a bear with respect to access and thus the labor charges are high. If you lack the ability, or means, then budget in for labor.

The first step in any mods, if you want to get your feet wet is to improve the inhale, and exhale of the engine. A CAI and a catback are the simplest means to do that. if you want to get even more, then you'll need to head toward the camshaft.

So, why not go with the CAi and a less expoensive system like Magnaflow or Hooker catback? Then, you'll have equal results vs the Borla but have $$$ in your pocket. If you are still unsatisfied, then the cam and LT's would be in order. Put a plan in place where you try to be able to retain as many of the mods you do. Why waste money?

Part of the fun is hunting for deals and doing it yourself. I prefer to listen to a guy who is running 12 flat and did it himself on the cheap, than a guy running 11.5 and paid through the nose for others to do it.
