If it's got no High's and no low's...it must be Bose. lol.

Of course I'm pushing everything off a JL 500/5. works great for a 10w3v3 stealthbox, and two sets of c5 co-ax's. Alpine head unit is the only thing not JL.

Depends on the amount of wattage you need to push those speakers VS how much wattage your amp will put out.

it's not a matter of wattage, more an question of efficiency and qualilty. I guarantee my 50 watts of JL power will stomp any "deck". You want sound quality, you have to buy an amp.

Also, it's a little tough to get 6.5's in the rear and not much payoff. I had my system set up with 4 - 6.5's pioneers and 2 - 5x7 in the rear and a 12" RF on Kenwood Amps. I changed the four 6.5's to JL and 10" stealth box with a 5 channel amp...and I didn't lose that much output, but it sounds very balanced.

My Recommendation, only replace the 4 speakers, disconnect the 2 in the rear, and spend the extra money on quality. But if you want louder, than you'll need the extra 2 speakers, but you'll probably need at least 2 subs to keep up.

Well lets say you push 20 watts of continuous power into a speaker that is rated for 70 watts of continuous power like my RE Audio speakers. Then you get distortion when you turn the stereo up because the speakers are begging for more power. Your amp needs to push at least 75% of what your speakers are rated for, otherwise they will sound distorted at high volumes.

All true. + decks never put out what they say they do. If you buy some nice speakers like type rs then its just a waste if you dont run an amp. Also you will just waste money by buying all 6. Just get 4
