Is the bcm different in a 1997 than a 2000?

Default Is the bcm different in a 1997 than a 2000?

Is the 1997 and 2000 bcm the same?

well seeing how a bcm is programmed to work with a specific pcm and now a 97 had a lt and the 2000 would have a ls, figureing you have a v8. I would say they would be different for that portion of the programmed, however for the controls for everything else I am not sure.

Thanks I figured i'll just get mine tunned to get rid of this pass key system.

u have problem with the pass key system? use a potentiometer to know what resistor u need. it is easyer that buy all the keys or reprogram

Yes im having a problem with the pass key system. How do I do it with a potentiometer?
