Default Automatic lights control box.

Just thought id put this out there for anybody having trouble with the DRL box. my auto head lights were staying on during the day when i was working on it and killing the battery. So i went and did a little research. I found that you can unplug one of the connectors and it will disable them. People on other forums said that just unplugging the "c2" connector would disable the blinkers, so i unplugged the "c1" connector and haven't had any problems. Theres a few other mods that can be done so the drl lights still work but i didn't want them. so away they went. Car works as normal and so do all the lights.

Heres the link to the forum site wher i found the info on the mod

How do I turn off automatic headlights on a 99? - LS1TECH.
(I don't take credit for making the tutorial listed above nor do i want to discredit the original poster.)

I don't think the e-brake warning light will work now. If you just cut all the wires at C1 except for positions D (tan/white) and E (light blue), and leave C1 plugged in, the e-brake light will still work.
