Yes. I found a thread on LS1tech that said the 2.73 A4 equipped LS1's were the only ones w/ the steel D/S.Reading other sitessaid ALL LS1's came with the aluminum D/S.

does it have the same specs as "normal" high performance aluminum shafts? twice as strong, half the weight?
