I was in an accident recently and yea. My hood is pretty beat up. Any ideas where I could get a maroon hood? if not I'll cover it up with a bra til I find a donor car on craigslist.

Nice pics. I definitely vote no on the bra, unless you just get one of those that go just on the hood. if your front bumper is fine do NOT put on a bra, because it will ruin the paint underneath. I'd say your best bet for a hood in your color is junkyard or craigslist. check out car-part.com also, it has listings of local junkyards' inventories.

Yes I got very very lucky finding my Camaro. Craigslist does wonders. It had a few issues when I got it but they've been taken care of. $1600 total invested, Blue Book value: $2500.
And WIspartan: The paint is already ruined on the bumper as you can see in the front end pic lol. And I've checked every junkyard with 100 miles of here and no one has a maroon hood. The closest one I found was in Little Rock, Arkansas and I live near Springfield, Missouri. Quite a drive but I'm tempted to go and get it

Even if you fine another Maroon hood there is little chance that it is going to actually match your car. Almost all colors have what is called a variance which means that the colors are not all identical. Black and the popular red are colors that have little to no variance, the Light Pewter like my car is painted has 14 variants. I would if I were you just find a nice hood that is not all dinged or beaten and prep it for paint before putting it on the car. Find a shop that will paint it for you, have them cut in the underside and then you go home and install it, line it up and get the car ready for them to finish it all. They will have to paint the front bumper, parts of the fenders and at least the top of the hood in order to get everything to look right so you will get it all done properly.

I had a feeling that another maroon hood wouldn't quite match my car. Well... I guess until I get some money to have it fixed properly I'll just cover up the front of the hood with a bra. Thanks for the insight Massey.
