Anyone recognize this hood decal? When it's really humid out you get this design on the hood. Just curious what the design is from.

Lol, you're seeing the pattern of the back side (reinforcement portion) of the hood. Since you say it happens when it's humid out, it's due to certain parts of the hood holding moisture longer than the other parts. The area that is still wet is where a cavity is formed from the back side. Open your hood and take a look, all will make sense.

 

so he needs a hood insulation pad

 

I thought the same thing when I saw that picture, but I didn't have anyway to compare it here at the house. The ducts coming from the hood scope was what caught my eye. Craby, I've never seen an SS hood with a pad. I'm not sure they make one.

 

Thank you for your reply. Camaro 69 hit the nail right on the head and was 100% right. I thought it looked like a weird cartoon/anime character and figured It was a big sticker someone had put on.
