Default Anyone needing a tail light socket read here

My passenger tail light was going out when hit the brakes. Diagnosed it down to a bad socket after I directly grounded it. Of course, it wasn't available at any of the local parts stores. I browsed the PICO rack at one store and found a 90 degree socket that looked close. It plugged in the light housing, but the only difference was it used the wedge style bulb instead of the push and twist OEM bulb. Of course I left the packaging with the part number at the store. I ordered another one so I will post the part # on Saturday. It was a GM replacement 90 degree park/brake up to 92 I believe. The PICO catalog online shows it as PN #5447C but I will verify when I pick the other one up. Best of all it works and only cost $10 for the bulb and socket. I paid $42 for a front turn/park socket at NAPA last year. I bet it would work for the front too. Hope this helps someone out.
