Well think of it this way.. the first 4th gen i ever rode in (and possibly will own) had 400 horses to the wheels without forced induction.

Ok, heres the low down. Paint is chipped like all over the car.. like someone washed it with a gravelly rag... and the tint (which is darker than all hell) has a corner thats peeling off... BUT other than that, the C6 rims and the slick rubber with the CD changer in side... boy this is MY car. Im going back next weekend to hopefully talk price. They are asking almost 9000 bucks, which is like 4000 over blue book and its 13 years old with 85K miles on it. Im gonna get my Girlfriends dad who was a car dealer for a couple of years and was top salesman at his lot to talk to em about the price. All their Camaros, Firebirds and Trans Ams of that style (bar the LS1s) were almost 9k... and not to mention its a consignment lot. But no bother... This car picked me as its driver, i could tell once i got in that seat it was gonna be mine.
If your looking for an LT1 then maybe I can help you out. I'm not sure if you've seen my other post but I'm considering getting letting go of my car so I can get a 67-69 Camaro. I've always wanted a Camaro classic but letting my baby go will be a hard thing to do but I can't have both. I've only got 15k on a rebuilt block and the heads/cam/rockers/pushrods are new. I've got an SS hood and I put on a rear spoiler on the car as well. There is a whole list of goodies I can tell you about that were done since I did the engine install. So if your in the Phoenix, AZ area look me up and maybe we can talk.

Yeah, Camaros have a way of finding their rightful owners. You and that car may have the same DNA. Nice car, and if it feels like the right thing then do your best to get the best price. Maybe they would at least re-tint it for you or give you a credit toward a new paints job or something. Use your instincts. That's what I did when I saw mine on E-Bay and I never regretted buying it. I know the feeling. My 99 had my name all over it. Good luck.
