Why is my alarm system going crazy. I disconnected the shock sensor some time ago but it still goes crazy. Got out of the car tonight, fob lock, beep beep, walked away 60 seconds later the car alarm goes off and the fob unlock wont shut it off, only the key. Some times the car will be sitting armed and it will beep once. Whats the deal?

 

thats a tough one ,for now i would look for the horn an unhook it when it happens ,sometime not ryme or reason ,but a wire or sencor

 

Check fuses, check the wires by the shock sensor. Make sure nothing is corroded, and checking all of your fuses couldn't hurt either.

 

i hear storys about them being sensitive sometimes if your arming it ,things around your house couseing it to go off is another you can hear about
