RE: ahhh!!! WTF?!?!?!?
Like JD and everyone else has said, go for something 600cc or less for a first bike. Go out and get a cheap 250cc bike to ride around on for a year, get used to riding a little, then you can start climbing the ladder up to the liter bikes.

RE: ahhh!!! WTF?!?!?!?
A 250 may be too small. I started on a Virago(535) and then got my Katana(600) a few months later. The best thing to do though honestly is to take a safety course through the DMV. The classroom sessions are boring but you will be so much better of a rider in the end. Plus you get to drop their bikes learning instead of yours.
And by the way 8500 is basically the same as 8995. Also where does the 91 come from in your name? That isn't when you were born is it? If thats the case you may not even be able to get your bike permit.

RE: ahhh!!! WTF?!?!?!?
BTW any responsible dealer will not even sell a new rider a Hayabusa or a ZX-14 for their first bike. Some will, but many will not. Same goes for litrebikes-GSXR1000, ZX-10, CBR1000, R1. Evenamodern 600cc super-sport bike (GSXR-600, R-6, ZX-6R, CBR600)is WAYYYY too much bike for a begginning rider. I would suggest starting in the dirt, where yourmistakes will notbe potentially life threatening. If you have to get a street bike, getsomething like a EX-500, SV-650 or something comparable- itwill beway more power than you need, TRUST ME.

RE: ahhh!!! WTF?!?!?!?
Are you trying to imply that you are rich with the "I'd pay with cash" thing. Did you sue somebody or win some kind of settlement or something, jesus. Not everyone in the world will sell a stupid kid something that may ultimately kill him just because he would pay with cash. Do you have any idea what it would cost to insure a Hyabusa/zx-14 for a 17 year old on their own policy, probably somewhere around 300 a month. For most people that is pretty out of the question.
