Default 99 camaro v6 wont start

I changed the fuel filter and it started and for about a block then it died I tryed to start it back up but it wouldn't it would just turn over. So I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it fired up on the first crank ran for about ten mins then died. Fuel pump kicks on and everything. If I unplug the battery for about 15 min it will start and die after ten min plz help any ideas

Fuel pump.

It is getting hot and seizing up. Being off for a few makes it work again until it gets hot. Ran into this issue before. How much fuel in the car right now?

Also could be the ignition control module failing but not failed. I am going with fuel pump first as the ICM usually does not intermittently fail.

4th Gens are notorious for inaccurate fuel gauges.... pour in 5 gallons & see what you get.

Also, the in-tank pumps are both cooled & lubricated by the fuel in the tank. Try to keep 1/2 tank or more.

Jim is right, the fuel once it gets to 1/4 or less starts to expose the pump and the amount of cooling and lubrication becomes limited, generating heat and causing failure. Im still going to put my money on the fuel pump

I don't vote with the gang. This started when you change your fuel filter. It sounds like a blockage in your fuel system. Make sure you are getting pressure at the various points in your system. Fuel pressure gauges are cheap.

If it is the fuel filter the pump is not far behind. Modern fuel pumps need gas flow to cool them. You block off that flow she can overheat in a minute. All new fuel pumps require proof of purchase of a fuel filter or you void the warranty.

Fuel pressure gages and spark testers are cheap. If you are just cranking and it is doing nothing then you are either losing fuel or spark. Step one should be which are you losing. Step two is why are you losing it.

Now if it sounds like it wants to start you are playing in a much larger playground. If it is trying to start then you are getting fuel and spark just not the right amount or at the right time.

But how much gas did he have before changing the filter? It could of been on the verge of running out. 1/4 is empty on mine. Flat empty. Left mechanic on side of the road. He didn't listen to me lol
