have you had it scanned for trouble codes? sure sounds like a icm but no way to know for sure.

ICM testing is not 100% accurate. Especially on an intermittent issue. In fact, I would say they are very unlikely to find an issue that only effects the car after running 5 minutes.

When a Car won't start its missing something. The question is what is it missing?

You want to check fuel pressure (Running good and no start condition)
Spark (with a spark strength tester)
Last you need to check to be sure the injector is cycling (use and injector noid light)
(DO NOT USE a test light or old volt meter, they can draw more power then the PCM can handle and fry your ECM)

Keep in mind just because you replaced a part is not 100% guaranty that it is working correctly. You need to test to prove it is working. I put 3 airtex fuel pumps in my 96 before I got one that worked right.

Im still at a loss here.car almost seems like it was vapor locking.unscrewed the gaa cap last night and ran it,ran fine.never shut off.today,it ran for about 10 mins and shut off on the highway.today,it took 30 mins to restart.after it shut off about 5 minutes later i thought i heard a relay click.when it did start 30 mins later i took it home immediately. 3 hours later i got in it and its trying to fire but wont start at all now.getting frustrated trying different things and still no check engine light comes on.

You are going to need to test for what is missing. With 40 PSI and submerged pump vapor lock is not a thing.
