Mitchecw - just did my driver's door this past weekend. First time I've ever tackled something like this and total duration was probably 3 hours. Shbox instructions (thread above) are great, but I cheated and bought the regulator and motor combined. ($120 at the dealer) Tools checklist should include a larger-than-hand-size riveter, 1/4" rivets, check the felt/fuzz covered door guides, too. One of mine was broken, I replaced both. Besides the fact that my drivers window could now beat anyone else's in a race, my door no longer clatters like an aging American car when I close it.

Good luck, and have fun.
Dean

most likely at a Chevy dealer, that's where I bought my window motors from.

Get the ones from autozone, they are pretty good motors and have a lifetime warranty! Just don't use the little bolts that come with them, get a little bigger ones.

Some of the stuff is the same or very similar.. I have an 02 and I used that window motor write up as a guide when I changed mine.
