Default 98 camaro suspension

I am putting a new suspension on my 98 Camaro. I have already completed the rear with KYB AGX adjustable shocks and Granatelli springs, i also put in fresh sway bar bushings while i was back there. I am now to the front; up here i am putting on the suspension as well as outer tie rod ends. Where i ran into trouble is from the get go where you unbolt the suspension from the top, inside the engine bay. There are 2 nuts and 2 bolts on either side. On the passenger side it was simple to remove the hardware. On the driver side i had to unbolt and move the master cylinder and move it out of the way, which was also not a problem. The problem i had was with the damn torx head bolts. No clue why they couldn't just put in standard bolts like the passenger side, but i ended up stripping one of the bolts. So i am asking the Camaro brotherhood, what should i do to get this damn bolt out? …….Heat?....... Drill?

thanks for reading.

Heating it may damage the paint around the bolt. If you dont mind then that will prolly be the best way to go. Vice grips have been known to work from time to time. Also grind an "X" into the head and use a chisle to break off the extra pieces and then remove from the mount after it is removed, Drilling does about the same.

The reason for the Torx is the clearance to the master cyl.
