since i have had my 98 ive been doing research on it. i was reading there were two different exaust options in 98 what exaclty was the difference? something was because there is a 20hp difference but i cant find anything on it.

does anyone know the difference?

 

slp exhaust was used.

 

also in 98 wasnt there the exhaust with both pipes coming out the same side? 2 out the left I believe? correct me if i'm wrong

I dont think an exhaust will make a 20hp difference. Motor trend loves to lie about F-bodys and so does GM I have borla on mine. Sounds nice. People say its to loud but I dont think its loud enough

 

slp did the mods for the ss. exhaust added like 8 or so hp.

 

the SLP dual dual was an option on WS6 and SS cars. It is a better flowing catback than stock, but it isn't 20 hp better; its just marketing.
